The mortuary of the late singer Song Dae-gwan, who left us, was set up at the funeral hall of Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 7th.



Tributes and condolences for the late Song Dae-gwan have continued for two days.

Song Dae-gwan died of a heart attack at around 10 a.m. on the 7th while receiving treatment in the emergency room of Seoul National University Hospital. He was 79. According to the music industry, Song Dae-gwan had a chronic disease and performed surgery three times, but was struggling with slow improvement. In particular, the deceased visited the emergency room of Seoul National University Hospital on the 6th due to sudden poor condition and continued treatment, but he couldn't get up and closed his eyes. The mortuary will be set up at the funeral hall of Seoul National University Hospital.

Tae Jin-ah, a close colleague of the deceased, said after paying her respects, `I feel like I've lost one of my wings,' `We were making plans after talking over the phone last month about setting up a 'Rival Dinner Show' for the first time in a long time. But I have nothing to say after hearing the news of my death today," he lamented. Lee Ja-yeon, president of the Singer Association, said, `I think many people have grown their dreams by relying on and leaning on the song 'Sunset Day'. We won't forget so that you won't be lonely on your way."




In addition, singers Kang Jin, Hye-eun, and actor Choi Daniel visited the mortuary, and singers Cho Yong-pil, Lim Young-woong, and broadcaster Kim Gu-ra also sent flowers to mourn the deceased. Rep. Park Jie-won of the Democratic Party of Korea, who visited the mortuary, said, `Song Dae-gwan, like a brother to me, always helped me when I was in need and when I needed him. Song Dae-gwan, who was born in June 1946, debuted in 1967 with 'A Kind Man' and was reborn as a 'national singer' after receiving a lot of love in 1975 with 'Sunset Day'. The deceased, who introduced his own music to the world with his unique Jeolla dialect and tone, suddenly stopped his activities when he left the country in the 1980s. He made his comeback to the music industry in 1989 with 'I'm Alone', and later became the trot king along with Tae Jin-ah, Hyun-cheol, and Seol Woon-do, with hits such as 'Because of Love'A Loud Sound Puff'Hometown Report'4 Beat'Four Beat'. In particular, Tae Jin-ah and Tae Jin-ah showed off their bickering chemistry as a perennial kkangbu and rival in the music industry, giving a lot of laughter.

In addition to his singing career, Song Dae-gwan said KBS2 drama `Princess is Back' which aired in 2009Starting with ', he appeared in SBS 'Ingenious' in 2011 and TV Chosun 'Welcome to Healing Town' in 2012.




Since he was also active in the broadcasting industry, the broadcasting industry also participates in the memorial service. KBS will also broadcast a video commemorating Song Dae-gwan in '2025 New Year's Plan 4th: Shim Soo-bong & Song Ga-in's New Year's Eve song', which was scheduled to air on the 8th.
