Actor Han Ji-eun (38) said she went through a period of stagnation as an actor.

Han Ji-eun met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 24th and had an interview with tvN's Friday-Saturday drama 「Ask the Stars」 (written by Seo Sook-hyang, directed by Park Shin-woo) and the original TVing series"Study Group" (written by Oh Bo-hyun, directed by Lee Jang-hoon and directed by Yoo Beom-sang). Han Ji-eun mentioned that there was a point of appearance in some scenes in the `Ask the Stars" scene, saying, `It would be nice if all the scenes came out pretty, but I don't try to put much meaning on each scene. I just focus on whether the emotions of the moment were fully concentrated and expressed. If that is solved well, there is a moment when I want you to leave the outside world and look at it as an actor. "

Han Ji-eun "I want to look pretty, but it would be nice if you felt that way, but as an actor, being pretty is not everything. Furthermore, it seems that they do not pay much attention to becoming 100 only at the moment when they express their emotions while existing as characters in the work. Rather, I hope that when emotions are expressed, I can feel it well.'

Han Ji-eun busily ran through the first half of the year, presenting a play AnnaX following 'Ask the Stars' and 'Study Group'. He said "The play is a new challenge for me. Until now, I have been in a stagnation period where anyone can come from a point where I am accustomed to acting in the media, but those points seem to be resolved a little while doing the play. So, I want to keep the heart that is being resolved now and continue well when I do my next media work and show that I have deep acting and growing up."

Han Ji-eun "The point where she thought she should challenge the play was expressed as 'Anna X." At some point, I wanted to challenge myself to the play. I have a thirst for being trapped in a mannerism without realizing it and not being able to move forward. That's why I think I needed a new stimulus. In fact, I think it was when 'Ants are on board' was over. I think everyone goes through it on the way as an actor. Every step up. I think everyone has a stagnation period, and I think that's the point where they were confronted. When I did 'Ants Are Burning', one of the new works was given the title of lead, but it was the first time I did a work that was led entirely by the main axis. At that time, there was a new point of learning, and I worked hard. It's one of my favorite works, and I wanted to express something more and I wanted to do more, but I think I felt a thirst that I couldn't express. I think the timing was right then. I thought I might be trapped now. I felt like I wanted to wake up once, and I suffered from growing pains."

Ask the Stars is a story about the life of Boss Eve (Kong Hyo-jin), who works on a zero-gravity space station, and an uninvited dinosaur (Lee Min-ho), who has a secret mission, and Han Ji-eun played Choi Dae-eun, the fiancée of the dinosaurs, in the play. With a huge production cost of 50 billion won, Ask the Stars recorded the highest viewer rating of 3.9 percent and the lowest viewer rating of 1.8 percent.(National standard for Nielsen Korea paid households)

Study Group is a story about a fierce entrance examination in which Yoon Ga-min (Hwang Min-hyun), a boy who wants to study well but is only talented in fighting, forms a study group at Yuseong High School, the worst school on earth. Han Ji-eun played Lee Han-kyung, Yoon Ga-min's teacher in the play. 'Study Group' was a success as it ranked No. 1 for four consecutive weeks in the number of paid subscribers to TVing.(based on TVing)
