Oyoanna's bereaved family revealed the contents on JTBC 'Case Team Leader', which aired on January 31, saying there was a group chat room created by weather forecasters. Oyo Anna was born in 1996 and was accepted to MBC Weather Caster in May 2021. In 2022, he also appeared on tvN 'You Quiz on the Block' and became a hot topic. However, Oyoanna died in September last year at the age of 28, and the news was belatedly reported in December last year. Later, on the 27th, a media outlet revealed that Oyo Anna took her own life while struggling with bullying at work. Oyoanna's cell phone found a 17-page suicide note.

The bereaved families claim that Oyoanna suffered bullying for two years and have filed a civil lawsuit against two fellow weathermen of MBC who were identified as the perpetrators.

As the incident grew, MBC decided to form a fact-finding committee headed by external experts to find out the cause and truth of Oyoanna's death. "For a fair and objective investigation, multiple external experts, including lawyers, will participate in the fact-finding committee, and heads of departments in the company's personnel grievance-related organizations will also participate as working members to support the accurate investigation."
