Starting with his debut film `The Day a Pig Fell Into the Well' in 1997, director Hong will be showing a total of 12 films at the Berlin Film Festival this year. He has received five awards, from 'Alone on the Beach at Night' in 2017 (Best Actress at Silver Bear) to 'Need of Travelers' last year (for the Silver Bear). Attention is focusing on whether this new work will win the Golden Bear, the highest prize.
