According to local media on the 26th, the family of the late Seo Hee-won gave up the arboretum and is considering finding a tower or burial ground where a monument can be erected.
Seo Hee-won wanted an arboretum in a nature-friendly way during his lifetime, but he needs an independent place for relatives and acquaintances of the deceased to remember and mourn him.
As a result, his husband, Koo Joon-yeop, is still in discussion with his family and has not yet made a final decision. Koo Joon-yeop is currently staying in Taipei and is undergoing post-treatment and related legal procedures by Seo Hee-won.

Regarding various rumors, including the inheritance of Seo Hee-won's legacy, he said, `I intend to give all my authority to my mother-in-law because Hee-won's precious legacy was saved in blood to protect her beloved family while she was alive.'
However, despite Koo Joon-yeop's pain and appeal, harassment such as rumors and fake news surrounding him and his wife continues, adding to the regret.
Earlier, Seo Hee-won died on the 2nd of the flu accompanied by pneumonia while traveling to Japan with her family. He was 48. Seo Hee-won's remains, cremated in Japan, arrived in Taiwan on the 5th. The deceased died at the arboretum on the 14th.
