Taiwan's local media, including ET Today, reported on the 3rd that `Seo Hee-won died of flu and pneumonia.'
Seo Hee-won passed away after the flu she caught after a family trip to Japan spread to acute pneumonia. It was also reported that Seo Hee-won's bereaved family has already completed the cremation process and is in great sadness.
Seo Hee-won's younger brother Seo Hee-je said "In the new year, my family went on a trip to Japan, and my beloved sister Seo Hee-won unfortunately left us with flu and pneumonia."

Koo Joon-yeop registered his marriage to Seo Hee-won in 2022 and became a legal couple.
