Oyo Anna, who joined MBC's open recruitment weatherman in 2021, suddenly passed away in September last year. The news of the death was only announced three months later in December, and suspicions of bullying in the workplace arose when a 17-page suicide note was found on the deceased's mobile phone on the 27th of last month. In December last year, the bereaved family filed a civil lawsuit against a co-worker who appears to have been bullied at work at the Seoul Central District Court.

MBC launched a fact-finding committee chaired by external experts to determine the cause and truth of the death of the deceased and held its first meeting on the 5th. Mapo Police Station in Seoul also received a complaint from the National Newspaper asking for an investigation into the case and began an internal investigation.
