The play 'Heda Gabler' is a new production play presented by LG Art Center, which became a sensation in 2024 by mobilizing 40,000 audiences with 'Cherry Blossom Garden' starring Jeon Do-yeon and Park Hae-soo. It will be performed from May 7 to June 8 at the LG Art Center Seoul and LG SIGNATURE Hall, and all actors, including Lee Young-ae, will appear in the previous episode as a one-cast.
Henrik Ibsen's original work 'Heda Gabler' is a work about the psychology of a woman who yearns for freedom under social constraints and oppression and is considered an important classic enough to be called 'Women's Hamlet'. In particular, the main character 'heda', played by Lee Young-ae, is a three-dimensional character who is elegant on the outside but has hidden anxiety, desire, and destructive nature inside. Actress Lee Young-ae, who will show her irreplaceable presence through various characters ranging from 'Dae Jang Geum', 'A Kind Geum Ja-Sea', 'A Spring Day Goes', 'Find Me', 'Maestra', and the drama 'Eun Soo Good Day', which is set to air in 2025, will present another intense transformation on stage through this work.
