According to the funeral hall of Chonbuk National University Hospital, Park Seok-jae, the father of sisters Park Ji-young and Park Hye-jin, passed away on the 22nd.
Family members including Park Ji-young and Park Hye-jin, their mother Jang Gong-soon, brother Park Chul-min, and Park Gwi-hwan were listed as residents. Currently, he is guarding the mortuary in sorrow and welcoming mourners.
Park Ji-young reportedly returned home in a hurry after encountering the sad news during her overseas schedule.
The mortuary was set up in Room 3 of the funeral hall of Chonbuk National University Hospital, and the coffin will be borne at 7:30 a.m. on the 25th. The deceased goes through Jeonju Seunghwawon and goes to sleep in Jangsu Seonyeong.
Park Ji-young, born in 1969, entered the entertainment industry when she was selected for the National Chunhyang Contest in 1988, and made her official debut as a 19th actor in MBC's open recruitment the following year. He appeared in a number of dramas, including 'When I Miss You', 'Jang Nok-su', 'Wedding Dress', 'Tap', and 'Jealousy incarnation', and recently won the Best Female Award at the '2024 KBS Drama Awards' for his drama 'The Iron Family'.
Park Hye-jin, who was born in 1978 and is nine years younger than Park Ji-young, joined the MBC open recruitment announcer in 2001 and has been working as a freelance broadcaster since leaving in 2014.
