SEVENTEEN, Aespa, ENHYPEN Shine at 1st 'D Awards'

On the 22nd, the K-pop Awards with Upick hosted by Sports Dong-A and organized by WSM at Hwajeong Gymnasium in Korea University in Seoul encouraged artists who spread K-pop and finished it successfully by providing a spectacular sight for global music fans.
The title of 'Years', which shined K-pop in 2024, was honored by various teams. 'Artist of the Year'SEVENTEEN,"Album of the Year'ENHYPEN,"Song of the Year'Aespa,"Record of the Year'ZEROBASEONE,"Performance of the Year'RIZE,"Trend of the Year'`QWER, `Rookie of the Year' Tours (TWS) and NCT WISH (NCT Wish) took it respectively.
SM Entertainment became the first protagonist of the 'D Awards Iconic' which meaningfully illuminated and cheered on the members who became the basis of global K-pop. The main award given by K-pop artists who performed very well this year, 'D Awards Delights Blue Label' includes N.Flying, SEVENTEEN, DAY6, TREASURE, P1Harmony, Espa, ENHYPEN, NMIXX, FIFTY FIFTY, TripleS, ZEROBASEONE, Rise, QWER, Tours, ILIT, and NCT WISH.

Cho Yu-ri, who played in Netflix 'Squid Game 2', Seo Bum-joon, who won two awards for Best New Artist at the terrestrial acting award last year, and Miminu (Kim Min-woo), an educational creator but inseparable from K-pop, received the award.
It was also won by N.Flying for "Best OST (BEST O.S.T.)" and "BEST CHOREOGRAPHY" by Tours and Eilit. It also went to DAY6 and QWER. "BEST VIDEO" was received by Espa and Rise, and "BEST TOUR" was taken by TREASURE and ENHYPEN." P1HAMONY and ZEROBASEONE were honored with 'Best Stage' and ENHYPEN and RISE were honored with 'BEST GROUP' respectively. The 'Discovery of the Year" went to PFT, Triple S, 82 Major, Youngpa C, Eunice, and Kickflip, respectively.
On top of that, the winners of the "upick Popularity Award" were "Best Male Group" ENHYPEN, "Best Female Group" Triple S, "Best Male Solo" Lee Seung-yoon, and "Best Female Solo" Red Velvet Wendy. "Yupik Global Choice Man" is ZEROBASEONE, and "Yupik Global Choice Woman" is for CHAEYOUNG of TWICE.
The various performances that captured the status of K-pop were like a comprehensive gift set. ENHYPEN, Triple S, ZEROBASEONE, and Rise were the first-ever performances on the show. Ko Min-si and Lee Jong-won, who are the first MCs, showed off their natural hosting skills as if they had worked together for a long time, were also overwhelmed. In addition, Cha Seung-won, Park Sun-ju, Hwang Chan-sung, Ko Kyung-pyo, Bang Min-ah, Gangnam, Noh Jeong-ui, Park Jin-young, Ahn Eun-jin, Lee Hak-ju, Kim Ji-eun, Joey-hyun, Jeong Geon-ju, Bae In-hyuk, Seo Beom-jun, and Mimi Minu also shone at the awards ceremony.
The criteria for judging 'D Awards' were selected fairly by combining online voting, music and record sales, as well as judging by judges.
