According to the theater industry, Kang Myung-joo closed her eyes on the 27th after battling cancer. He was 54.
The mortuary of the deceased was set up in Room 11 of the funeral hall of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital at Banpo Catholic University in Seocho, Seoul. Family members, including her husband, actor Park Yoon-hee, and her daughter, actor Park Se-young, were listed as residents. The coffin will be borne at 7:40 a.m. on the 2nd, and the burial site is the Catholic Yongin Park Cemetery.
Park Se-young wrote on her account on the 28th of last month, "My mother left yesterday afternoon for a long time." I would appreciate it if you could remember the stage she loved and the moments when she shone" left a message.
Kang Myung-joo, who was born in 1971, started his acting career in 1992 with 'Kuni, Nara' of the theater company Experimental Theater. Since then, he has performed on a number of plays, including 'Guilman Hamlet', 'Blood and Seed', and '20th Century Blues'.
The mass media acting began with the 2022 drama `Weird Lawyer Woo Young-woo' and appeared in the drama 'Please take care of this life as well', 'Romantic Doctor Kim Sa-bu3' and 'Wonderful World'. In particular, Park In-young's role as a judge in 「Weird Lawyer Woo Young」 gained public recognition.
