Local media, including the Free Times TVBS, reported that Wang Continental was arrested on charges of attempted murder on the morning of the 4th.
In April last year, Wang had a conflict with a driver while traveling by Uber taxi from an airport in Taiwan. Wang was arrested on charges of attempting to avoid military service by issuing false medical certificates as if suffering from a chronic disease such as heart disease. He was released after being investigated by the prosecution and paying a deposit of 150,000 dollars (about 6.5 million won). In the process, police obtained Wang's cell phone and found circumstantial evidence that he ordered the assault and video of the driver's assault.
