A Chinese tourist smoking inside a restaurant in Seoul has become a big controversy.

Recently, a post on the online community has been posted titled 'Unconceptual Chinese Women Smoking in Restaurants'.

The author said "What happened at the Nonhyeon-dong restaurant" and "Four Chinese men and women came and made a loud noise and looked, and a woman was smoking an e-cigarette"

Then "I made eye contact and told him not to smoke, but he ignored me and smoked. Even the restaurant employee told me not to smoke, but I smoked. He explained that even the Chinese lady at the restaurant told me not to smoke, but I smoked.

The Misdemeanor Punishment Act, enacted for the purpose of maintaining public well-being and preventing crimes, includes smoking in non-smoking places and on-the-road urination.

In addition, if you smoke indoors in a non-smoking area, you will be fined up to 100,000 won.

In response, Sungshin Women's University Professor Seo Kyung-duk said, `Recently, a photo of a Chinese child defecating on the street was released in Jeju, and Chinese tourists smoking in the non-smoking area of Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak is causing a lot of controversy," he said.
