According to the Haryan Metro report, Nur-Hazwani Mustafa, 37, was recently hosting a live broadcast at home when her husband, in his 40s, started scolding her when he got home.
The couple got into an argument in the presence of 3,000 viewers, and their husband declared his divorce by shouting the Islamic custom 'talaq' three times.
This is an Islamic custom in which divorce is officially allowed if a husband shouts 'clack' to his wife three times in a row.
The video made headlines on TikTok with more than 2 million views.
Mustafa told the media that "My husband secretly married another woman in Thailand three months ago""I was planning to accept my second wife, but my husband and new wife are often provoking and mocking me."," he said.
"I felt very bitter because my husband seemed to love his second wife more."
Mustafa has been married to her husband for more than a decade and has two children, aged four and seven. She even quit her job as a local government official to take care of her family.
Shocked by the sudden announcement of divorce, she said, "I wanted to quit my job and be with my husband forever, but I got this 10 years later."," he lamented.
Although she was divorced on live television, Mustafa said she wanted to calm down and continue her life with her children.
She said "I don't care what others say. I just want the kids to do well,' he added.
She said that her social media followers have increased since her divorce, and she plans to focus on the online cosmetics business.
