According to local media such as Kkomchaetreuk and Thai Channel 8, a video of a 4-year-old girl playing in the water with more than 200 crocodile cubs in a small swimming pool was posted online at an alligator farm in Thailand's Cha Tye-Sao Province.
The child does not look scared at all, but rather has a pleasant expression, such as lifting up the babies and showing them to the mother.
There have been posts online criticizing the mother who took the child with concerns that the child looked dangerous.
Then the mother of the child insisted that "crocodile cubs between 2 and 7 days of age"" `I can't hurt my daughter because my teeth haven't developed yet.'
He also explained that "'My daughter has been playing like this since she was 2 years old and is always watching, so it was not a dangerous situation.'"
"For your information, crocodiles start to develop their teeth after 15 days of age," he said, adding that "I hope other people take this into account if they want their child to play with crocodiles."
However, netizens pointed out that there are concerns about infection as well as bites.
They expressed concern that places full of wild animals may have large amounts of bacteria and young secretions that can cause diseases in the water.
