An Indian man who was bitten by a snake has been reported to have killed a snake in revenge.

According to local media such as Jagran News and India Today, Santosh Rohar (35), who lives in Nawada, Bihar, India, was bitten by a snake while sleeping in a tent at the construction site where he works on the night of the 2nd (local time).

He said "The snake bit twice, so I immediately caught the snake and bit it three times to kill it."

It was in accordance with the local custom that the effect of the poison was offset by the snake bite.

Santosh, who was bitten by a snake, was later taken to a hospital, treated and discharged within a day.

He was not afraid when he was bitten by a snake"Because in my town, I believe that if I bite a snake more than the number of bites, I can get rid of the poison."," he said.

The type of snake that bit him is not known, but locals estimate that the snake was not a virulent type.

On the other hand, if you are bitten by a snake, it is important to first check if it is a poisonous snake. If the head is triangular and there are two tooth marks on the snake bite area or skin discoloration, swelling, and blisters appear, chances are high that it has been bitten by a poisonous snake.

After being bitten by a snake, emergency countermeasures require you to go to a medical institution immediately away from the bite site, tie 5-10 cm above the bite site at an appropriate pressure to prevent the spread of the venom.

In particular, if the bite area is sucked out by mouth, it can stimulate the wound and promote the circulation of snake venom, so it should be avoided.
