A unique upside-down rainbow has been spotted in China, making headlines.

According to local media such as China Dotcom, a 'Upside Down Rainbow' was seen in the sky of Zijin County, Heuan City, Guangdong Province, China on the 8th.

Named 'Circhenithal Arc' by the World Meteorological Organization, the rainbow looks like a general arch upside down. It is also called the "smile in the sky" because it reminds us of the "smile" emoticon.

Cheonjeong Lake is one of the very rare weather phenomena, and it is a phenomenon in which the sun's light is reflected in ice crystals in clouds over 5,000m in the sky.

Generally, rainbows are formed by water droplets reflecting the sun's light in the atmosphere, while the sun's light passes through small, thin, flat ice crystals in a hexahedron.

This results in the formation of a 'upside-down rainbow' with red light at the bottom, or a 'horizontal rainbow' that seems to be scattered in clouds, unlike ordinary rainbows.

Netizens are asking "Will it come true if I make a wish?", "I'm lucky to see you.", "I think something happy will happen." give a back reaction.
