A woman in her 40s who put poison in her husband's drink because it's 'absurd'

The reason was that, absurdly, my husband didn't appreciate the arrangement of the birthday party.
According to USA Today and other local media, A, a 47-year-old woman living in Lebanon, Missouri, was arrested several times between May and June this year on charges of putting herbicides and pesticides in her husband's soda.
According to the police investigation, the husband, who became increasingly ill for no reason with symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting, was suspicious and installed a hidden camera in the house.
The video captured his wife putting something in her husband's favorite soda.
The wife stated "He committed the crime because he was angry that he did not appreciate his hard-prepared husband's 50th birthday party and took it for granted."
Police charged the woman with first-degree domestic violence and armed criminal activity.
