Krafton announced on the 24th that it will present 'Fantasy Battle Royale' on the arcade of 'Battlegrounds'.
'Fantasy Battle Royale' is a special April Fool's Day mode introduced in 2020, and it has received great response from users for providing novel concepts and strategic team play. Users can choose and play one of the characters of four occupations: 'Bararian', which is in charge of close attacks with a large sword, 'Ranger', which is in charge of long-range sniping with a crossbow with a speaker function, a wizard 'Wizard', which uses wide-area damage skills, and healer 'Paladin', which restores the strength of our troops.
The match will be held in a third-person perspective and a four-person squad within the Erangel map, with up to 80 users participating. Like the existing battle royale method, the squad that survives to the end through competition wins. 'Fantasy Battle Royale' will be available from 24th to 7th August on PC and 31st to 14th August on console.
Meanwhile, 'Battlegrounds' reintroduced some items that help strategic gameplay through the 30.2 update conducted on the 10th. First of all, among the reintroduced items, the performance of items mounted in the main weapon slot was upgraded. The number of attachment slots in 'Tactical Bags' increased, and the time spent using recovery items or resuscitating team members through 'First Aid Equipment' decreased slightly. Less times are available for the 'all-in-one repair kit' that occupies the auxiliary weapon slot, and tactical bags, first aid equipment, and all-in-one repair kits are world-sponed on all maps.
In addition, updates such as adding Automobili Lamborghini collaboration items and content, improving vehicle customization options, adding flare guns to the Deston map, reducing the amount of emergency call sponges in Miramar and Rondo maps, and fixing overall map-related bugs such as collisions, textures, and stability issues.
