The Bukhara Himchan Hospital in Uzbekistan, which opened in 2019, is the first hospital-level medical institution established by a domestic private medical institution in Central Asia.
Currently, it is a quasi-general hospital with a total of five medical departments and 100 beds in orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, endocrine medicine, and cardiology. Bukhara Himchan Hospital is the first in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, to introduce and operate Korea's digital medical system as it is, such as checking prescriptions, X-rays, and MRI results electronically in the clinic.
In the video where CEO Lee Soo-chan introduces the interior of Bukhara Himchan Hospital, you can also check the main systems of local hospitals and Uzbekistan employees and patients in the YouTube video.
A systematic physical therapy system that did not exist in Central Asia, 1.5T MRI introduced for the first time in the Bukhara region, and a surgical system identical to that of Korea were also unveiled.
Unlike local hospitals, where the guardian prepares the patient's meal in a lunch box, the hospital provides patient food to reduce the burden on the guardian, and provides Korean food every Wednesday, showing high interest and response to K-food.
It also included vivid voices showing high satisfaction after the procedure and the process of recovering from neuroplasty by patients suffering from severe back pain.
Neuroplasty is a common non-surgical treatment in Korea, but Uzbekistan is still performing surgical procedures that make incisions when treating spinal diseases. Bukhara Himchan Hospital recently introduced the first neuroplasty in Uzbekistan and is implementing it in earnest.
Lee Soo-chan, CEO of Himchan Hospital, said "We have been operating the hospital to raise Korea's status in Uzbekistan as well as Central Asia and to promote excellent medical capabilities."There were many difficult moments, but we will not give up and will make efforts to promote the excellence of K-medical and to globalize the strong hospital brand."
Meanwhile, since its opening in 2015, Himchan Hospital's official YouTube has been steadily popular, delivering joint, spine and health-related information at the patient's eye level, clearly delivering medical common sense that patients are curious about, and has exceeded 100,000 subscribers in June to receive a silver button.
