Koo Ja-sung, Vice Chairman of Eunsung Medical Foundation, took office as the foundation's new chairman (CEO). Chairman Koo is the owner of an unusual history. After graduating from Pusan National University School of Medicine, he completed his MBA course at Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States after acquiring a gynecologist. Since then, he has returned to a good cultural hospital after working as a management consultant for two years at a global consulting firm 'McKenzie & Company', and has been treating infertility so far.
Currently, he is an outpatient professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Yonsei University Medical School, executive director of the Korea Hospital Association, president of the Busan Artificial Intelligence Convergence Technology Association, vice president of the Korea Obstetrics and Gynecology Association, chairman of the Hospital Information Committee of the Korea Small and Medium Hospital Association, and partner of Digital Healthcare Partners (DHP).
There are many awards, including the Busan Mayor Award (2024), Busan Mayor's Commendation (2022), the National Assembly Vice-Chairman Gong Yeong-jang (2020), and the Korea Medical and Foundation Association Chairman's Award (2018).
The Eunsung Medical Foundation, a local company that grew into the birthplace of orthopedic surgery and cultural accommodation obstetrics and gynecology of the Gujeonghoe in 1978, currently operates 11 network hospitals, including five general hospitals (Good Culture, Samsun, Gangan, Samjeong (Ulsan), and Sunrin (Pohang) and six nursing hospitals (Good Lovers, Love, Riverview, Sunrin (Pohang), Busan, and Jurye). It has a total of 3,100 beds, and 4,700 medical staff and staff are working.
