The family who bought a lottery ticket with the same number for 30 years has finally paid off.

According to the Daily Mail, Audrey Cobb and three children from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, won the second-place number in the draw on the 20th (local time).

The prize money is 1 million pounds (about 1.8 billion won).

They created a 'family union' to win the lottery at a Christmas gathering in 1994.

After that, they collected money and bought a lottery ticket with the same number every week, and when their families chose different numbers, they combined them to buy the rest of the lottery tickets.

As originally promised, the prize money will be divided into £250,000 for four people.

Audrey Cobb's eldest son, David, 67, who is the 'union representative' `Although a small amount of money has been won, it is the first time that he has been ranked first.' `An incredible moment has come, especially for his younger sister, Carol, who has struggled so far."

When asked about her plan to use the jackpot, Carroll said she would buy a house, while her youngest sister, Sandra, would buy a new car.

David and his mother have not decided yet, but have said they intend to prioritize what is in the family's interest.

Lottery has been a communication channel for the family so far, he said, adding that it feels better to share the prize money with the family.

The winning numbers for the first place in the lottery were 5, 9, 18, 32, 44, and 58, and the lottery tickets purchased by the family won five numbers and 34 bonus balls.
