Gyeonggi Content Agency signs MOU with Gyeonggi Game Meister High School to cultivate talent

The Gyeonggi Content Agency (hereinafter referred to as Kyungconjin) signed a business agreement with Gyeonggi Game Meister High School to cultivate talented people in the game industry at Gyeonggi Game Meister High School in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do on the 4th.

At the event, Tak Yong-seok, director of Kyungconjin, Kim Sang-jin, head of the Future Industry Division, Jeong Dae-sik, principal of Gyeonggi Game Meister High School, Kim Byung-cheon, and students attended a meeting to sign a business agreement and share opinions on the education field in the game sector.

Through this business agreement, Gyeonggi Game Meister High School students will participate in Kyungconjin's 『Public-Private Cooperation FGT and QA Support Project" from the second half of this year. This project is a project to inspect games from small and medium-sized developers supported by the Gyeonggi Global Game Center before release.

Through this project, students can gain experience in quality management, which is an important step in game development, and small and medium-sized developers suffering from manpower shortages can increase the completeness of the game. It is also expected to have a positive effect on the ecosystem of the game industry in Gyeonggi Province as it is likely to lead to employment in the company in the future, according to Kyungconjin.

Following the signing ceremony, teachers working in the field and students dreaming of a career in the game field spoke out at the meeting. Students talked about their concerns about starting a job in the game field and presented program ideas that could help them explore their careers. At the same time, teachers presented the support needed in the educational field and various institutional cooperation measures.

Director Tak Yong-seok said "Slow growth in the game sector after the end of the pandemic would have had a significant impact on students' job start-ups."We will identify what is needed in the educational field so that it can be reflected in the support project for Kyungconjin."."
