Hallim University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital, 'National Health Examination Institution Evaluation' Best Selection

Hallym University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital (Hospital Director Lee Dong-jin) was selected as the best institution in the 4th cycle of national health examination institutional evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The evaluation of national health examination institutions is an evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare every three years from 2012 to improve the quality of national health examinations. This four-cycle evaluation was conducted in eight areas and 437 questions through written and visiting surveys for 13,203 institutions with more than 50 annual checkups by type of examination from 2021 to 2023.
As a result of the evaluation, Hallym University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital Comprehensive Health Promotion Center won the highest grade in general checkups such as general field, diagnostic test medicine, and radiology. In addition, it obtained excellent grades in the six major cancer screenings (gastric cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, and lung cancer). The excellent grade is 90 points or higher in all evaluation areas that make up the type of examination, and can be received when the disease prediction and record evaluation results are perfect. The best grade is selected if it is within the top 10% of the evaluation results for each type of examination.

The General Health Promotion Center of Hallim University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital has expanded and moved from the main building to the new building in 2019 and is conducting patient-specific comprehensive health checkups and national health checkups in the latest equipment and facilities. In addition, when diagnosing abnormalities in severe diseases such as cancer through health checkups, a system that can lead to rapid treatment and treatment is established and operated through organic connection with 30 specialized medical departments and 10 specialized centers, contributing to the development of medical welfare in the community.
