Hallym University Han Kang Sungsim Hospital, 'Training in specialized wound management courses'

On the 5th, Hallym University Han River Sacred Heart Hospital (Hospital Director Heo Jun) conducted 'Injury Management Specialized Course Education' at the Doheon Hall on the 4th floor of the Doheon Research Center.
This training, designed to share expertise in burn patient care, consisted of ▲Hallim University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital Burn Center Tour ▲ Burn patient dressing ▲ Acute stage burn treatment ▲ Burn wound management ▲ Skin scar management after burn ▲ Infectious wound management. A total of 19 people attended the education, including nurses in charge of burn treatment at Hallym University Han Kang Sungsim Hospital and Daegu Blue Hospital.
Lee Mi-hwa, head of nursing department at Hallym University Han Kang Sungsim Hospital, who supervised the education, said "Hallym University Han Kang Sungsim Hospital operates the largest burn center in Korea and is constantly studying burn treatment.""In the future, we will continue to provide continuous education to in-house and out-of-house medical staff and strive to provide high-quality medical services to patients" he said.
Hallym University Han Kang Sungsim Hospital is the only university hospital designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare that operates burn surgery, mental health medicine, and rehabilitation medicine for burn patients for three-dimensional treatment. In addition, in order to minimize the treatment period and complications and aftereffects, the largest hyperbaric oxygen treatment center in Korean university hospitals was opened and operated in July 2023 to treat burns.
