Red Lab Games announced that it will hold a new server character name preoccupation event exclusively for Korea of authentic hardcore MMORPG 'ROM', which it developed and is conducting a global simultaneous service with Kakao Games.
This character name preoccupation event will be held on the official website of 'Rom' ahead of the opening of a new server 'Vern' for Korea scheduled for the 25th. Red Lab Games said it will open a new server for the global traffic that continues to flow while maintaining the game's conservative server expansion policy, and will be prepared as the first server dedicated to Korea to reflect the opinions of users and provide a more comfortable game play environment.
In addition, with the opening of a new server exclusively for Korea, Taiwan plans to open a new server exclusively for Taiwan, 'Kentaus', to deliver the fun of regional competition and cooperation of the cross-world-based global integration battlefield to global users to be introduced in September.
Prior to this, Red Lab Games unveiled episode 2: '8th PD Briefing', which users are giving a lot of opinions through the game's official community on the 17th, which contains plans and schedules for strengthening the Artras, macro penalty system, and adding server relocation functions.
The PD briefing also revealed plans for large-scale updates in July, including four equipment recovery rights, a special event to support growth, a new guild raid, and a reorganization of the monster drawing system, and that the development policy will be changed from the existing 'episode and monthly unit update' to 'weekly update' to quickly meet the expectations of users.
