According to Indian media, including the Hindustan Times, travel influencer Anbi Kamdar (27, female) traveled to Kumbepokpo, about 120 km from Mumbai, with six friends on the 16th (local time).
To film content for Instagram, she slipped and crashed into a canyon while filming videos and photos near the waterfall.
Rescuers who arrived about an hour later managed to pull her up within four hours and take her to the hospital, but she finally died.
The police explained "The area is a risk zone for a crash" "It rained a lot on this day and the floor was very slippery"
Kamdar is an accountant-turned-travel influencer with about 300,000 Instagram followers.
The last post she posted on Instagram a day before the accident was 'Great Indian Destination to Visit When It Rains'.
