According to local media such as Siam Rat and Kaosod, a film for the 亡 was screened at a Chinese cemetery in Muang district, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from the 2nd to the 6th of last month.
The cemetery contains 2800 graves, mostly of Chinese descendants.
The Chinese community in Thailand explained that "an event designed to commemorate those buried here and to convey comfort to the soul"."
The film was screened from 7 p.m. to midnight for five days in an outdoor auditorium in the cemetery.
There were movie scenes on the screen, but hundreds of chairs were empty. It was a place for souls.
