According to local media such as Lao Dong News, women in their 20s living in an apartment in Kau Kiai, Hanoi, Vietnam, were recently shocked to find a camera hidden inside an electrical outlet in the bathroom.
The apartment is a place where a 24-year-old woman has been renting with her roommate and has been living for six months.

The hidden camera was elaborately camouflaged, and the camera angle was facing the place where the two women bathed.
According to an investigation by the police who were dispatched after receiving a report, the camera was the latest product connected to Wi-Fi so that it could record high-quality audio and video and send recordings to the outside.
"I didn't know because the camera was so small and I rarely used a bathroom outlet," the women said. "Also, a typical electrical appliance used only two holes, so I didn't care about the third small hole where the camera was hidden."
Police are summoning people involved in the apartment for questioning.
