Jeon was arrested and charged with stealing about 3 billion won in the name of investment from 27 people he met while giving lectures from 2022 to last year, and was sentenced to 12 years in prison in the first trial in February and is currently on trial on an appeals court.
The prosecution continued its investigation after the indictment and handed over additional charges that he stole about 125 million won from three people in the name of unlisted stock investments.
Jeon also added to the charge of extorting about 233 million won from four men he met through a dating app, pretending to be a female equestrian, pretending to be married or dating, and asking them to borrow money to use for participation in the competition.
Charges of defamation have also been added. Jeon pretends to be an investment expert and is accused of making false remarks as if he could even determine whether A will hold lectures as a teacher of YouTuber A in the marketing field.
