The 2024 International Women's Association (MWIA) West Pacific Regional Conference, hosted by Kim Bong-ok, vice president of the World Women's Association and head of Incheon Himchan General Hospital (head of the Sangwon Medical Foundation), was held in Cebu, Philippines for three days from the 11th.
In addition to Korea, seven member countries of the World Women's Association, including Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, and China, participated in the theme of 「Empowering Women in Medical Education and Leadership」, and various topics such as next-generation women leaders in medicine and women leading changes in the medical community were presented.
