The Korean Orthopedic Sports Medicine Association (Chairman Lee Geun-bae) announced that the second sports damage symposium was successfully held at the Baekbeom Kim Koo Memorial on the 21st.

This symposium provided a venue for in-depth discussions on the mechanism of occurrence, prevention, and treatment of osteochondral lesions and arthritis that occur in each joint due to sports damage. In particular, expert sessions and counter-discussions were held to listen to the sincere experiences of performers who have a lot of experience in treating sports damage in each field, drawing a lot of attention.

In addition, practice programs on arthroscopy, ultrasound, and taping, which were well received at the first symposium, were separately prepared, providing practical learning opportunities for many participants.

Professor Lee Geun-bae of Orthopedic Surgery at Chonnam National University Hospital said in his opening speech, "It will be a symposium that only the Korean Orthopedic Sports Medicine Association can share clinical experiences of outstanding athletes with high experience and knowledge in sports medicine and learn how to treat them."," he stressed.

Meanwhile, the Korean Orthopedic Sports Medicine Association is actively engaged in educational activities for professional and amateur sports populations as well as medical professionals by exchanging sports medicine in the orthopedic field.
