It is shocking that a man who has been legally reported dead committed a crime to prove that he is alive.

According to Indian media such as G-News and Balotra News, a stabbing rampage occurred at an elementary school in Vera village in Balotra district, Rajasthan on the 19th (local time).

A principal and a teacher were stabbed and wounded.

The 40-year-old gunman, Baburam, was caught at the scene by residents.

Baburam stated the reason for the crime in a police investigation, saying he had been reported dead.

He claimed that someone submitted a fake death certificate and reported his death to take away his property, wife and children.

He then visited government offices and village elders to make an appeal to correct the error, but he said he committed the crime because it was useless.

He explained that if the name is mentioned in police records, government documents and media reports after the crime, it proves that he is alive.

Police detained him and launched an investigation to confirm that his allegations were true.
