From January last year to June this year, the 17th Gyeongjeong entered the Gyeongjeong Training Center for 18 months and completed all three stages of safety education and education related to the correction, including water lifesaving education, and officially became a Gyeongjeong athlete since July. There are a total of 10 people in the 17th period, and Kim Mi-yeon, Kim Tae-hoon, Park Ji-yoon, Yoon Seo-ha, Lee Hyun-jun, Lee Hyun-ji, Lim Gun, Lim Hye-ran, Cho Mi-hwa and Hwang Dong-gyu are the main characters. They are rookies in four years since the previous seniors took the professional stage due to the influence of COVID-19.
The biggest topic among the 17th athletes in the Gyeongjeong is that for the first time in the Republic of Korea, 'Women (父女) Gyeongjeong Player' came out. The main character is Lee Yong-se and his eldest daughter, Lee Hyun-ji. There were many couples like Park Seol-hee (3rd term) and Shim Sang-chul (7th term), or brothers like Kim Min-cheon (2nd term) and Kim Min-gil (8th term), but this is literally the first time that the child of an incumbent superintendent has become a superintendent.

However, a mock race is only a mock race, and the important thing is the actual race. The key was how much they could show their skills in front of the audience, and through the 27th and 28th rounds, all 17th players competed in actual games at Misari Police Station.
Among them, Kim Tae-hoon and Lee Hyun-joon stand out the most. The two players' greatest competitiveness was their quick start. Kim Tae-hoon recorded 0.10 seconds and Lee Hyun-joon recorded 0.16 seconds. In addition, when designated training with seniors, rookie players are likely to be passive due to pressure. However, this was not found in Kim Tae-hoon and Lee Hyun-jun. Rather, he tried to show what he could do as much as he could, and he did not miss the turnmark and stood out.
On the other hand, if you look at the mock race performance of the 17th athletes conducted by the Gyeongjeong Training Center (based in Yeongjongdo), Cho Mi-hwa recorded the highest winning rate with 31%, followed by Kim Tae-hoon with 29% and Lee Hyun-jun with 20%. On top of that, players with double-digit winning rates include Lim Gun, Hwang Dong-gyu, and Kim Mi-yeon.

Among the other players, Lee Hyun-ji, who won his preferred second course, and Cho Mi-hwa and Lim Hye-ran, who were able to concentrate on turning, were notable. Kim Mi-yeon, a senior graduate, won the first course, but she still lacks in turning or competing, so it seems necessary to compensate intensively for her shortcomings.
Team leader Lim Byung-joon said, `The 17th rookie race will be held for three months until October, after which it will be held in a mix with seniors. "You have to make good use of this period to further utilize your strengths and make up for your shortcomings to survive the competition with your seniors," he said. "Meanwhile, there is a possibility that an unexpected event will occur in the 17th rookie race, so we need a race reasoning strategy that even undervalued athletes pay attention to."
