Old man in his 80s picking jackfruit dies from falling fruit

According to 3 Plus News, a local media outlet, an 84-year-old man was found dead at around 8:30 a.m. on the 28th of last month behind a house in Tammonlong, Kampengpet Province, Thailand.
Police and rescue teams who were dispatched tried to transport the elderly man who fell under a 10-meter-high jackfruit tree near the house, but he had already died.
Upon confirmation of the death, it was found that the head was swollen and cracked.
In addition, two jackfruit weighing about 3kg were placed next to the old man, and he found a jackfruit thorn stuck in the old man's hat.
The family stated that the old man left the house and said 'I'm going to pick jackfruit'
The police found no signs of murder"The old man seems to have been hit in the head by a fallen jackfruit while picking jackfruit using a long bamboo stick, he estimated."
Meanwhile, jackfruit trees grow mainly in Southeast Asia, and pulp is a fruit with a crisp texture and a sweet and sour taste that seems to be a mixture of bananas, mangoes, and pineapples.
