According to The Sun and other foreign media, Chanis Crystal Dawson (31, female), who lives in Ramsgate, Kent, UK, said the sunroof of a Mercedes car parked in front of her house was damaged for unknown reasons.
The vehicle is a 2017 Mercedes E-Class model.
"CCTV footage shows sunroof breaking," she said. "There was no external shock," he said.
She then said "If the sunroof broke while driving on the highway, I could have died" and "I don't want to drive this vehicle again. I want to sell it right away."
After receiving the call, the Mercedes-Benz service maintenance company said that there was no evidence of manufacturing defects after towing the vehicle and talking to the insurance company.
On the other hand, this phenomenon is called a sunroof 'Jaffa'. Jaffa refers to a phenomenon in which glass is broken like an explosion without any other external impact.
