An airline employee was caught kneeling and apologizing to passengers protesting at the airport because they could not find their luggage.

According to Taiwanese media ET Today, Chinese Airlines flight CI-153, which was scheduled to arrive at Taiwan's Taoyuan Airport on the night of the 25th, landed late at 2 a.m. the next day due to the influence of Typhoon Ant.

But passengers could not find their luggage at the airport for two and a half hours.

In the process, when there was no explanation from the airline or the airport, angry passengers complained, and airline employees informed them to wait until 5 a.m.

In response, passengers demanded clarification on the delay in arrival of their luggage, and some demanded compensation from Chinese Airlines.

Passengers began to get more angry after an airline employee informed them that the company could not compensate.

As the situation turned serious, the female employee apologized to the passengers and knelt down.

Passengers `don't kneel and want compensation. I've been waiting for three hours" he screamed.

The delayed arrival of passengers' baggage was due to Typhoon Ant, a late Taoyuan airport official said "The simultaneous arrival of many flights resulted in increased workload and limited manpower, leading to delays in the handling of luggage for about eight flights"

Then "We apologize for the inconvenience. We will review and improve manpower allocation and procedures in the event of bad weather," he added.

China Airlines wishes to understand the difficulties of its employees due to the typhoon and is sorry for not meeting the needs of all passengers", he apologized.
