Professor Jung Woo-baek of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital elected the next president of the Korean Society of Cardiology and Oncology Research Society

Professor Jung Woo-baek of the Department of Circulatory Medicine at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital of Catholic University has been elected as the next president of the Korean Heart Association's Heart Oncology Research Society. The term of office is two years from January 2025 to December 2026.
The Heart Oncology Research Association was established as a research association under the Korean Society of Echocardiography in April 2016, and developed into a research association under the Korean Society of Cardiology in April 2020. Since then, it has been officially designated as a Korean Chapter of the International Cardio-Oncology Society in 2023 and is actively conducting international academic exchanges.
Professor Jeong "The Heart Oncology Research Society has expanded the base of cardiovascular disease prevention and management of cancer patients in Korea, which has been barren for the past eight years"We are preparing to publish Factsheet based on the results of domestic research in the future and establish medical guidelines, and we will do our best to study cardiovascular disease in cancer patients and cancer survivors."
