Professor Lee Ki-taek of Gachon University Gil Hospital inaugurated as president of the Korean Society of Neuroradiation Surgery

Professor Lee Ki-taek of Neurosurgery at Gachon University Gil Hospital took office on the 6th as the second president of the Korean Society of NeuroRadiography and will lead the conference until July next year.

The Korean Society of Neurosurgeons is an academic group of neurosurgeons who treat neurological diseases using various radiation equipment such as Gamma Knife, Novalis, and Cyber Knife. In 2023, it was recognized as a branch society under the Korean Neurosurgery Association and launched.

Professor Lee Ki-taek said "The development of computer engineering engineers has contributed to the advancement of radiation therapy equipment, and is now a standard treatment for brain, spinal tumors and other neurological diseases."In order to contribute to the development and revitalization of radiation surgery in the future, we will make every effort to educate through active academic exchange activities as well as publicity and training lectures on radiation surgery."

On the other hand, Professor Lee Ki-taek, a master of the field of high-level microsurgery, is active in academic societies related to brain diseases such as the Korean Society of Neurosurgery, the Korean Society of Brain Oncology, and the Korean Society of Radiation Surgery. In 2021, he served as the president of the Korean Society of Two Peaks.
