On July 7, the 7th race, something unbelievable happened. On the 7th, the 3rd horse 'Giant Punch' and 9th horse 'Giant Killing' crossed the finish line at the same time in the 1200m domestic Grade 3 race held at Let's Run Park Seoul.

In horse racing, the arrival of racehorses at the same time is called 'equal rank' (coincidence). The reason why this equal ranking record is special is that the two racehorses, which tied for first place, are the same person. The record for the same race was the first time in Korean horse racing history.

In short-track speed skating competitions on the ice, the finish line crossing standard is the end of players' skating blades. In horse racing, the tip of the nose of racehorses is used as a standard. The situation in which the tips of the noses of the two racehorses reach the finish line at the same time is rarely seen. This is the first time in Korean horse racing history that two racehorses from the same side have arrived at the same time. 'Giant Punch', 'Giant Killing' Both racehorses are named 'Giant'. This is the name that Lee Jong-hoon gave as his symbol. Coincidentally, the two racehorses facing Lee Jong-hoon, who competed in the same race, finally separated the finish line at the same time.

Maji Lee Jong-hoon, who was lucky to win both the first and second prize money thanks to the tight competition between the two racehorses, expressed his feelings about the race, saying, `It's amazing because it's my first time experiencing it, but I'm so happy that I got two wins through one race.' Teacher Song Moon-gil, who is in charge of the management of the two racehorses, also recorded the first and second rank of the same assistant teacher.

Teacher Song said, `Both similar racehorses showed aptitude in sprinting, so I participated in the same race again this time following the last race, and I never expected to win in the same order.' The two racehorses competed in the same race in June and competed in a neck-and-neck race (22-44 cm), making it difficult to predict an advantage in this race.

In horse racing, there are about three times a year for the first and second place horses. In 2003, 'Perfect Champion' and 'Language Counties' tied for first place in the YTN Grand Prix race, remaining the first joint first-place record in the Korean race. In 2006, equal rankings occurred twice a day, drawing attention. However, the two racehorses faced each other again at this time.

Even in Japan, a neighboring and horse racing powerhouse, 2001 was the first time that the same horse race won the same ranking, and it is still the only record.

It also drew attention to the results of those who bet on the championship of the two racehorses. Although it varies slightly depending on the conditions, the fixed dividend will be halved from the previously announced figure because the number of winners has increased in the case of a single winner. The single-win dividend rate of 'Giant Punch' was reduced by half from 3.4 times to 1.7 times, and 'Giant Killing' was reduced by 5.2 times from 10.5 times.

The thrilling competition created by the two racehorses can be watched on YouTube channel 'Maso Society TV'.
