Self-sustaining Oriental Medicine Hospital Deliver Spinal Health Donations for Vulnerable Children in Green Umbrella

The Self-Sustaining Medical Foundation (Chairman Park Byung-mo) announced on the 1st that it delivered donations for the spinal health of children from low-income families through the Green Umbrella (Chairman Hwang Young-ki), a specialized child welfare agency, on the 28th.
On this day, the Self-Sustaining Medical Foundation visited the Green Umbrella located in Jung-gu, Seoul, and delivered 30 million won in donations to support spinal health promotion programs and medical services for vulnerable children. The donation is part of the Self-Sustaining Medical Foundation's 'Child Spine Health Protection Support Project' and will be used to manage the spine and joints of 600 children at 25 children's centers in the Seoul metropolitan area by September. Items such as in-body meters and kidney meters that can continuously monitor children's health are also supported.
Since 2011, the Self-Sustaining Medical Foundation has supported various educational programs and related equipment for the musculoskeletal health of vulnerable children through the 「Child Spine Health Protection Support Project」. The subsidies were contributed from donations from executives and employees of Jaseng Oriental Medicine Hospital, and until last year, a total of 3,242 children were benefited. The project also won the Outstanding Program Award at the 2017 Seoul City Social Contribution Awards.
