Shin Won-chul, professor at Gangdong Kyunghee University Hospital, inaugurated as president of the Korea Sleep Research Association

Shin Won-cheol (Sleep Center) of the Department of Neurology at Gangdong Kyunghee University Hospital was elected as the 12th president of the Korean Sleep Research Association at the 2024 Korean Sleep Research Association held at Baekbeom Memorial Hall from the 6th to the 7th. The term of office is from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2026.
Founded in 2002, the Korea Sleep Research Association is a society that studies medical technologies for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of sleep disorders. Along with this, efforts are being made to establish a legal system for sleep disorder patients.
Professor Shin Won-chul said, `Everyone sleeps and wakes up every day, but it is not easy to maintain proper sleep. I will try to make a world where everyone sleeps well."
Meanwhile, Professor Shin Won-chul serves as the head of the sleep center at Gangdong Kyunghee University Hospital, the head of the brain nerve center, the chairman of the Institutional Bioethics Committee, and the vice president of the Medical School Civilization Center at Kyung Hee University Medical Center.
