Six male and female tourists were found dead in a luxury hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to local media such as the Thai Inquirer, an employee of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in Bangkok found six bodies in the room at around 5:30 p.m. on the 16th (local time) and reported them to the police.

An initial police investigation found no signs of quarrel or physical struggle in the room, and food remained intact.



Police are investigating the possibility that they may have been poisoned.

It was confirmed that they all drank only drinks such as tea and coffee. The time of death was estimated at around 2 p.m.



The hotel staff said they were scheduled to check out later in the day, but there was no news, so they went from room to room They were found in a room on the fifth floor, he said.

Two Vietnamese Americans and four Vietnamese nationals were known to have died. There are one in their 30s, three in their 40s, and two in their 50s.



Police confirmed that 7 people had reserved 4 rooms on the 7th floor and 1 room on the 5th floor, and are chasing the other one by specifying the identity.

In addition, two Vietnamese suspects who left the hotel before the body was found are also being tracked down and their tour guides are called for questioning.

Thai Prime Minister Theta Thawishin, who visited the hotel after the incident, told reporters that the incident was not a robbery or shooting reported by some and that an autopsy was needed on the bodies to determine whether the victims had ingested any harmful substances.

He then instructed all government agencies to urgently investigate the case"I'm sure this incident will not affect tourism," he said.
