Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital Gets Grade 1 Intensive Care Unit Appropriateness Evaluation

Cheonan Hospital (Hospital Director Park Hyung-guk) affiliated with Soonchunhyang University recently obtained the first grade in the 「4th Intensive Care Unit Appropriateness Assessment」 conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.
The evaluation was conducted from January to March 2023 on the care of adult patients who were admitted to the ICU for more than 48 hours.
Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital received high scores in all evaluation items such as ▲ the number of intensive care unit beds per person in the exclusive specialist ▲ the number of intensive care unit beds per nurse ▲ the presence of specialized equipment and facilities in the intensive care unit ▲ the infection control activity in the intensive care unit ▲ the mortality rate in the intensive care unit.
Director Park Hyung-guk is certified as a hospital that provides specialized medical services to critically ill patients with three consecutive first-class scores""We will not be satisfied and will work harder to survive and recover the health of people with severe diseases" he said.
