The first half of 2024, which was fiercer than ever, will end with the 26th round on June 27, and the second half of the year will begin with a new grade from July 3. In response, we introduced the first half of the year 'What Happened at Misari Station' and analyzed the results of the grade review announced on June 28.

▶The first half of the year, the main characters of the special superintendent are Shim Sang-cheol, Kim Ji-hyun, and Kim Min-cheon

A total of six large competitions will be held at Misari Superintendent's Office, including the special police officer in Kurihara to commemorate the contribution of 'Kurihara Koichiro', who is called the father of the Korean superintendent.

Among them, this year's first grand prize correction (Sports World Cup) was held in April, and Shim Sang-chul, who is called 'Emperor Correction', won the championship. Shim Sang-chul was the first to cross the finish line before falling out using his fast start speed.

Meanwhile, in May, Kim Ji-hyun won the title of the "May Queen Special Superintendent" to determine the strongest female player. Kim Ji-hyun, who ranked second in this year's first grand prize, is considered a rising female powerhouse. Kim Ji-hyun's biggest advantage is his ability to run a calm game. This can be seen more clearly by looking at the records. This is because the 'average accident point' is 0.05 points, which is the lowest level among corrective athletes.

Finally, Kim Min-cheon recaptured the championship in 13 years in the 'National Sports Promotion Foundation Chairman Bae Wangjung Wangjeon' held in mid-June. Kim Min-cheon, who won the championship with the perfect technique before falling out, currently has 16 wins and ranks fifth with multiple wins, showing his veteran side without regret.

▶The leader of multiple wins is also 'Emperor Jeong' Shim Sang-cheol and Kim Min-jun, who are closely chasing

This year, as last year, the competition for the most wins is heating up. If you look at the records until the first half, the player who is leading in multiple wins is also Shim Sang-cheol.

Shim Sang-chul won a total of 37 games last year, and he has already won 28 games in the first half of this year alone. If he shows his current skills in the second half of the year, he will be able to win the fourth most wins in his career.

Meanwhile, he expected to achieve 50 wins for the first time, surpassing 49 wins (2005 Seo Hwa-mo, 2006 Woo Jin-soo), the most won by a superintendent, but unfortunately, Kim Min-joon, who won the most wins last year with 48 wins, is also not easy. Since he has won 27 games so far, he is chasing Shim Sang-chul closely and seeking the most wins for the second consecutive year.

▶As a result of the evaluation of the grade of corresponding players, 46 people were promoted and 29 people were promoted

On June 28, the Korea Racing Authority announced the results of the review of the grade of athletes in the race. It was calculated based on records from the 1st to the 26th round this year, and 46 out of 141 players were promoted and 29 were promoted.

Particularly noteworthy is that athletes who were previously evaluated as powerhouses in correction received B2 grades due to the changed race operation system from this year. The changed race operation system here is that if a start violation (pre-start or delay in start) is made during the rating review period for stable race operation, it will be the lowest B2 grade regardless of the average score.

As a result, 24 players, including Kim Wan-seok, Kim Eung-sun, Cho Eun-seok, Joo Eun-seok, Kim Jong-min, Kim Hyo-nyeon, and Kim Do-hwi, were rated B2 for starting violations. On the other hand, the bottom 7% of the average score will be subject to 'main hold', which will limit the opportunity to play, and a total of eight players will be eligible. In addition, if 'main hold' is accumulated three times, player registration is canceled, and Yoon Young-il, Kwon Il-hyuk, and Koo Bon-sun are the targets.

Lee Seo-beom, an analyst at Korea's Predictive Correction, said, `It is expected that a fiercer match will be held for the existing strongmen who received the lowest B2 grade to return to their original position due to the violation of the preliminary start"From July, the 17th athletes of the Gyeongjeong Training Center will run a rookie race at Misari Training Center, and it will be more fun to choose the best cotyledons."," he expressed expectations.
