Suncheonhyang University Cheonan Hospital, 'Evaluation of Adequacy of Stroke' Earned Grade 1 for 10 consecutive times

Cheonan Hospital (Hospital Director Park Hyung-guk) affiliated with Soonchunhyang University recently obtained the first grade in the 「10th Acute Stroke Appropriateness Assessment" conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.
The evaluation was conducted on 249 medical institutions nationwide who treated patients with acute stroke for six months from October 2022 to March 2023.
Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital received perfect scores in most of the evaluation indicators such as ▲Stroke Unit (human resources and facilities) ▲ Intravenous thrombolytic agent (t-PA) administration rate (within 60 minutes) ▲ Early rehabilitation evaluation rate ▲ Early rehabilitation rate ▲ Functional out-scale implementation rate (at discharge) ▲ During hospitalization pneumonia incidence (hemorrhagic/ischemic).
Park Hyung-guk, the head of the hospital, received the first grade in all 10 adequacy evaluations as an operating institution of the Chungnam region cardiovascular disease center representing the region"We will continue to strive to protect the health of stroke patients and maintain the best medical services in the future."
