The Korea Sports Promotion Corporation (Chairman Cho Hyun-jae) Korea National Training Center (based in Yeongju, Gyeongbuk) will open its facilities to overseas cyclists and leaders who visited Korea to support training.

The cyclical leaders and athletes from Mongolia, Vietnam, and Malaysia who visited Korea to participate in the 'WCC-KOREA' program organized by the Korean Cycling Federation. A total of 61 overseas cyclists and leaders (36 leaders and 26 athletes) will visit the training center this year, and various educational training such as bicycle maintenance, road training, and track training will be conducted by August.

Director Park Sung-woong, who is in charge of the operation of 'WCC-KOREA', said "In the past, overseas leaders and athletes who have received education and training at the Korea Training Center are performing well in international competitions such as the Asian Games." We are grateful to the Kyeongryun Training Center for allowing us to use the training facilities for free."



Kim Bo-heon, Director of the Korea Training Center, said, "The Korea Training Center is the best bicycle training facility in Korea with the natural environment of Sobaeksan Mountain, the only 333m and 250m track stadiums in Korea, and the circulation road, fitness center, and indoor bicycle practice center." We will continue to provide support for overseas leaders to use the facilities of the Korea Training Center to achieve good results in international competitions."," he said.

On the other hand, the Training Center is also stepping up efforts to cultivate candidates for racers, which is its original role. Starting in July, professional instructors from the UCI from the UK will be invited to run more advanced education and training programs such as correcting candidates' bicycle driving posture and advising tactical training based on tactical tendencies.
