An Eva Airlines plane belonging to Taiwan entered the runway incorrectly and damaged its wings.

According to local media such as VN Express, at around 4:04 p.m. on the 3rd (local time), Eva Airlines 'BR396' bound for Taipei, Taiwan, was traveling to the runway for takeoff from Ho Chi Minh Tan Son Nat International Airport in Vietnam when the pilot accidentally checked the signal and hit the street lamp.

There was no significant damage to the aircraft, but some of the left wing was damaged. All passengers on the aircraft were safe.

The aircraft was suspended for repair.

When traveling to the runway, the aircraft follows a specific route under the guidance of airport staff, and the accident is believed to have been accidentally moved by the pilot.

Air traffic authorities and the airline are investigating the cause of the accident.
