With the opening of the 2024 Paris Olympics just three days away, a mass sexual assault incident in Paris is shocking.

According to foreign media such as the Daily Mail, the owner of a kebab shop near the Moulin Rouge Cabaret Theater in Paris reported to the police that a woman was sexually assaulted at around 5 a.m. on the 20th (local time).

The victim was a 25-year-old Australian woman, A, who claimed to have been committed while attending the music festival, the Peted Music Festival.

Not speaking French, she asked for help from a kebab shop after she was committed with five men who appeared to be of African descent.

When she entered the store, she said she had her underwear in her hand with her dress upside down and her phone had been stolen.

Police said she did not know the details, including where the crime took place.

Local police said the crime is believed to have occurred between the night of the 19th and the dawn of the 20th, and that they are investigating nearby CCTV footage.

"We will make every effort to quickly identify suspects and bring them to justice," a police official said.

Meanwhile, ahead of the Paris Olympics, police and authorities are on high alert by controlling various parts of the city.

Nevertheless, violent crimes have occurred one after another, increasing anxiety.

On the afternoon of the 18th, a man was shot and taken to a hospital with a weapon, and died, and on the 17th, the previous day, a car suddenly rushed to a cafe next to the road, killing one person and injuring six others.

Also, on the 15th, a soldier patrolling a subway station was stabbed and injured by a gunman.
