A Japanese hiker has discovered a Coca-Cola can that has been manufactured in the mountains for more than 40 years.

According to local lifestyle media 'hint-pot', a netizen named Tori-chan recently found two Coca-Cola cans while hiking Mount Kitadake in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, with his senior.

Surprisingly, the can had never been opened.

Tori-chan, who came down the mountain one by one with his senior, searched and found that it was the same as the design of the product produced until the 1980s.

The Coca-Cola logo is the same as it is now and has a marketing phrase in Japan in the 1980s called 'Yes Coke Yes'.

Out of curiosity, he decided to taste the coke.

According to the video, the coke was poured into a glass cup, and not only the color but also the carbonation seemed to remain.

He took a sip and said, `I thought a strange liquid would come out, but it was like a regular coke. The taste and smell were normal. However, the carbonic acid was a little weaker than the current cola and felt a little softer taste,' he said.

He then added that "'If you don't say old cola, but put it in a glass and give it to the customer, you won't notice it.'"

Netizens who watched the video are `brave.' I can't believe you're drinking something so old."I'm glad I didn't have a stomachache", "It's like a time capsule made by nature.", The reaction is "Colla is acidic at a pH of 2.5, so it is unlikely to go bad..."

Meanwhile, experts advised that it is absolutely not recommended to consume expired food or drinks.
